John is a native of Cowley, Wyoming. While attending Brigham Young University he married his high school sweetheart, Margaret. John graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School in 1978 while maintaining an active home life with two daughters and a son on the way. After practicing general dentistry in Laurel, Montana for three years he moved to Omaha for a five year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He returned to Montana to practice oral surgery in Billings in 1986. John is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and has always been active in continuing education. His goal has been to establish a practice that maintains the highest standards of excellence in patient care. He enjoys reading, music, travel and spending time with their eight grandchildren.
